Hops and Lavender Sleep Pillow 120

Sleep pillows are fun and simple to make, and their aroma provides gentle sedative effects. Hops are an old fashioned and still effective remedy for inducing a sound sleep. Mix together the following ingredients:

  • 2 parts dried hops
  • 1 part dried chamomile flowers
  • 1 part dried lavender flowers

Cut 2 pieces of fabric, each about 8 inches square, and sew around the edges to make a pillow, leaving enough room to insert a tablespoon. Spoon the herb mixture into the pillow and sew it shut. Add a few drops of the lavender oil, and refresh as needed.

3 drops .................... Lavender
How to Use:

Heat the pillow for a few minutes in the microwave until it is warm, but not too hot. This will help ease a earache or toothache.
