Ginger root infused oil 397

1 cups of fresh ginger root finely chopped
2 cups olive oil

This oil can be a bit tricky, due to the high water content, but dried root just does not get the same results. Infused with a low, steady heat for 2 to 3 days, leaving the lid to your pot ajar, or if using a jar method, cover the top with cheesecloth. This oil has so many great uses, as a massage for lower back pain,(great for pregnant ladies) arthritis pain, or sore muscles. Use ginger anytime you want to increase circulation and restore energy. Makes a great spicy cooking oil too!

You can add to the warmth and effectiveness of the the infused oil by adding a spicy blend ginger, cardamon and nutmeg oils, but don't add the essential oils if you use the oil for cooking
